As some of you in the D&B and South-Coast community may have heard in June 2016, we lost a very dear friend and loyal DJ / Producer by the name of Joe Wells aka Ikon. The response from the industry on a whole was phenomenal and took the whole of the D&B community by shock let alone Joe’s Family and friends, with that in mind we would like to give you all the chance to come and pay your respects by coming to celebrating his life the way he would’ve wanted us too.
On Saturday 17th September 2016, Leaderz of The New Skool alongside Young Guns Recordings & our HGC family would like to invite the whole D&B community to unite and celebrate the life of one of the youngest, up & coming soldiers to grace our circuit, who was sadly taken from us far too early.
We have searched far and wide for any other nights running on this date and we are yet to find anything... Please may we ask any promoters to avoid putting anything on this date as we would like to give everyone the opportunity to attend this and give Joe the send-off he deserves..
Save the date, tell your friends.. This is a one-off event, ALL artists have agreed to play for ZERO funds and all the proceeds will go to Joe’s family to help with any funeral costs, a Unique Personalised Headstone and also the Air Ambulance (https://theairambulanceservice.org.uk/donate/)
